iSHMU 5.12.3

This application provides weather forecasts for Slovakia based on data from the Slovak Hydrometeorological Institute (SHMÚ). As a tool, it aims to streamline access to weather information, offering both automatic and manual location selection features.

With iSHMU, users can access detailed weather predictions for over 1,000 Slovak towns, facilitating planning and preparedness. The app offers up-to-date forecasts including:

• Accurate predictions for up to 1,030 locations across Slovakia
• Two-day weather forecasts utilizing the EPSGRAM ALADIN model
• Three-day forecasts represented via meteogram from the ALADIN model
• Eight-day weather predictions based on the ECMWF EPSGRAM
• Ten-day forecasts displayed through ECMWF meteogram
• Search functionality for locations using fulltext queries
• The ability to mark locations as favorites for quick access
• Automatic detection of current position
• Weather models including ALADIN, ECMWF, and A-LAEF
• Textual descriptions derived from the ALADIN model forecasts
• Radar imagery with animation overlays on map backgrounds
• Weather alerts with notifications for selected favorite locations

The application retrieves visual data directly from www.shmu.sk server, storing images locally on the device for user convenience. All data, textual content, and images are intellectual property of the Slovak Hydrometeorological Institute. It is important to note that iSHMU operates independently and is neither financed nor officially supported by SHMÚ.
